Stop Dabbling. Start Systemising.

A 4-week practical course for business owners and teams who want to use AI properly - with structure, confidence and measurable results.

Next cohort starting 7th April 2026 - limited to 10 places.

The Problem

You've heard the noise. You've probably tried a few prompts. Maybe you've even signed up for a tool or two.

But here's what keeps happening - inconsistent results, no clear process, and no idea whether you're using it safely or effectively. One person on the team dabbles, the rest ignore it, and the business gains nothing.

You're not behind because you lack access to AI. You're behind because nobody has shown you how to use it properly.

Our own research found that 61% of SME engineering companies said skills and change management were the biggest barrier to AI adoption - not budget, not tools. And companies are falling behind in adoption.

The tools aren't the problem. The skills and approach are - there is still time to get ahead and do it properly from the start.

Who This Is For

This course is designed for SME business owners, directors, operations leads and their teams - particularly in engineering, technical and B2B companies - who want to move from scattered experimentation to structured, confident AI usage.

It's for you if:

  • You've tried AI but the results feel hit-and-miss
  • Your team has no shared process or guidelines for using it
  • You're concerned about data security and quality control
  • You use it but want to go over the basics and take it to a new level
  • You want AI to fit your existing workflows, not create new ones
  • You know there's value in it but don't have the time to figure it out alone

No technical background needed. No prior AI experience required.

What You'll Get Out of It

By the end of four weeks, you and your team will have:

  • A clear understanding of what AI can and can't do for your business
  • A personal and team AI usage policy covering privacy, security and safe use
  • A reusable prompt library and frameworks you can apply across tasks
  • Real workflows built around your actual business operations
  • A working project or custom GPT designed for a specific use case
  • A 30-90 day action plan to keep building momentum after the course

This isn't theory. You'll leave with systems you can use immediately.

How It's Delivered

Format: Video and content to be worked through individually followed by a live online sessions via Google  small group of a max of 10.

Duration: 5 Weeks - 1 introduction session and 4 modules - one session per week.

Group size: Maximum 10 participants - so everyone gets attention and feedback.

Homework: Each week includes practical tasks to apply what you've learned between sessions. This is where the real progress happens.

We combine the advantage of self study and practical application in your own time, weekly group discussions and questions over a four week period. This ensures you get the most out of the course rather than a full day’s course and forgetting or not applying the material.

How This Connects to the Webinar

If you've attended our free webinar - AI for Sales and Marketing in 2026  - you'll already have a sense of where AI fits and why a structured approach matters.

The masterclass is the next step. Where the webinar gives you the picture, this course gives you the skills, the systems and the hands-on practice to make AI work inside your business.

If you are still unsure - join our next webinar to get a picture of it all and meet Stefan Buss who will be running the course.

Why S.M.E. Runs This Course

At Sales & Marketing Engineers, we work with engineering, technical and B2B companies every day. We've seen what happens when AI is adopted without a plan - and we've built the structured approach that turns it into a reliable, repeatable business tool.

This isn't a course from a tech company selling software. It's practical training from people who understand how SMEs actually operate.

FAQs

  • Do I need any AI experience to join?

None at all. Week 1 starts from scratch - we'll get you set up and comfortable before we go any further.

  • What tools do we use?

We primarily work with ChatGPT, but the principles apply across all major AI platforms. We'll cover the key features and differences so you can choose what suits your business.

  • Can I bring my team?

Yes - and we'd encourage it. AI adoption works best when it's a shared effort, not one person's side project. Group bookings are available and we customise the training for you - book a time to chat.

  • Is this just for engineering companies?

The course is designed for SMEs across engineering, technical and B2B sectors. The examples and use cases are built around practical business operations, so it's relevant to any company that wants a structured approach to AI.

  • What's the time commitment?

One live session per week plus homework tasks between sessions. Expect around 2-3 hours per week in total. The homework is where you'll make the biggest gains.

  • How is this different from the free webinar?

The webinar gives you the big picture - where AI sits, why it matters, and the framework for adoption. This masterclass gives you the hands-on skills, guided practice and accountability to actually implement it across your business over four weeks.
